Technological Innovation Trophy for C-surance.ca !

The Laval Chamber of Commerce, recognized MDI exceptional work by awarding the Dunamis “TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION Excellence “trophy for the C-surance.ca products and service.

M. Richard Sirois, president and CEO of MDI, sent a very important message to the more than 800 peoples who attended this prestigious gala:

"The insurance industry suffers from its aging business process. The operating paradigms are a reflection of processes that were created when computers were the size of a gymnasium and had the power of today's basic calculators. The present business processes are taxed by scores of INDIVIDUALISTIC and ISOLATED management operations.

This forces multiple input of the same information while maintaining similar information in different data bases. Furthermore, while data exchange capacities are limited if not barely acceptable, the insurance carrier "Legacy" systems are dampening the evolution. You are footing the bill for this inefficiency (on average 28% of each dollar of premium).

My only hope is that C-surance.ca will be adopted sooner than later in order to allow each and everyone of you to either reduce your insurance cost or allow you to increase your purchasing power ".

MDI was also recognized as a finalist for “Excellence in QUALITY “in its services and products. The Dunamis Awards are an annual event organized by the Laval Chamber of Commerce to provide recognition to the Laval based companies that have shown excellence and growth.

Being nominated for the finalist positions in the company demonstrating the highest standards in "Quality" as well as the company demonstrating the best innovative technology is quite an honor considering the excellent companies who were also vying for the honors.
