Managing analysis:
Underwriting Global Management and Volume Automatic Calculus #18
Consistent with its simplicity and efficiency at all time, Allegroupe has created a batch processing environment to capture insurance rate charts.
One of Allegroupe’s strength is its data analysis capacity incorporated within your various RFP’s. Henceforth, before checking the insurance rate charts, we recommend that you choose the “Hypothesis calculation” option which will allow Allegroupe ‘s system to make the various necessary calculations, including the different volume calculus.
Insurance Rate Chart module will allow you to capture various rates for the different projects which are being selected. The adapted input fields are available for each benefit.
Depending on the context, the operator will be able to directly enter the underwriting rates on this chart for each of the given project. This will also enable him to import rates from RFP’s as they were enter by various carriers or by using your direct access to the different RFP’s.
Once the various rate tables have been entered or imported from RFP’s, the operator should be request to use the “Volume Calculation” button to allow an automatic process for each of the identified RFP’s volumes. The calculation will take into account the employees’ list and each of the insurers’ underwriting conditions. It is then possible that volumes vary from one insurer to the other.
Current displayed results come from imported rates of RFP's previously submitted by the insurer. Similarly, the volume and the premium for this particular file have been automatically calculated by Allergroupe.
It is clear that the value of these figures will be directly related to the information that has been entered. Consequently, if we analyse a file with real information, results will be quite realistic. In a situation where an approximate environment is created, it is also clear that the end premium could vary substantially.
Here, one will note that Allegroupe is a real wizard. For example, it has pinpointed that divisions and categories were not rated the same way by this insurer. It will respond to this by automatically producing a different regrouping based on the underwriting that was initially proposed.
You can also observe that the underwriting charts reflect the categories of benefit and their specific underwriting requirements.
If you wish to manually input your rate charts, by using a dialogue box you will be able to identify the divisions and the classes you wish to add rates on.
Once you have completed entering the rating information, we suggest you export them directly into your RFP’s so to synchronize both the information contained in this comparative statement and the charts that will be included in these individual RFP’s.
