FORWARDING COMMUNICATION TO THE INSURER
Transmitting the RFp’s to the insurer #12
One of C-surance great feature is most certainly its communication module. Therefore, we will explore together the information transmitted to the various carriers and how we can easily manage the information listing to our different partners.
To begin with, we most likely want to validate the content of the information to be transmitted and verify if our files are completed.
By selecting the «Project list options», this will enable us to examine the content of to the different RFP’s set up to be transmitted the various carriers.
The operator can look at each individual project and validate their benefit attributes content. Here, we will note that the operator has prepared a basic plan, a current plan and one option.
Without any further intervention, the three files will automatically be transmitted to the various carriers when the electronic exchange is activated with the GAP (General Access Provider).
Back at GAP, we are now ready to generate copies of individual RFP’s for each recipient.
Contextual dialog boxes will be displayed to choose sequentially the recipient carrier, its branch, if there are several, and the specific professional that will become your underwriting carrier.
This communication mode being used by each recipient will influence the process to be applied.
However, for the managing sponsor, the procedure used by the RFP and the virtual computing remains the same. One has only to select the recipient and let C-surance take control of the events that will follow.
A fully documented copy of the RFP and the options will have been reproduced for each participant. In addition, when the carrier will import its file, it will be possible for him to receive a copy of the current plan whenever it is available.
If necessary, the sponsor can add a notepad with information or a complementary memo to the electronic transmission sent to the carrier.
You will be able to repeat the same process for each recipient you want to share this information with.
As previously mentioned, C-surance will assume the identification of the type of transmittal type and will automatically perform a transaction which is in accordance with this requirement.
Consequently, the managing operator has no need to modify his procedure. The only thing left for him to do is to click on the transmission button and, based on the type of transmission, C-surance will send an email with a PDF “attachment” that includes the RFP. Or, it will email to the C-insurance's partner advising him that a C-surance file is available for consultation and evaluation.
GAP will automatically date and time stamp when the transmission occurred, and will display all relevant information in the column “Sent”. The following step is for the file to be processed by the carrier. Should he want to see how and why, it would be in the greatest insurer interest to use C-surance environment, using the underwriting of this software version.
