C-Surance printing via TSPrint
TSPrint is a software that facilitates printing for users connecting to a Terminal Services server.
The C-Surance server is exclusively accessible via Terminal Services therefore the use of a tool like TSPrint to manage printings is indispensable.
This document explains how to install and configure the TSPRINT software with C-Surance in order to simplify document printing for users. Furthermore, TSPrint works with older printers so customers don’t have to purchase new equipment to be compatible with the C-Surance.ca software.
TSPrint gives excellent results with printing via Terminal Services.
*** Before installing TSPrint, you have to disconnect from C-Surance.
STEP 1 :
Follow this link to access the website : http://terminalworks.com/remote-desktop-printing/
Make sure you are in the “Printing” tab (see menu on page top)
Click the “Downloads” tab and then click the “download” button in the section called “Client Download”.
STEP 2:
Connect to C-Surance.ca server.
When you are ready to print, you have to click on the printer setup using the following icon:
In the printer setup window, make sure you select one of the following : « TS Print Default », « TSPrint Printer » or « TSPrint PDF »
In the list, you will find 3 new printers 1) TSPrint Default – The document will print from the users default printer 2) TSPrint Printer – The user will be presented a window where he can choose the printer of his choice 3) TSPrint PDF – The document will be converted to a PDF file for more flexibility
After selecting the option « TSPrint Default » for example, click OK to close the window
Now print the document and make sure everything prints correctly.
How it works
TSPrint uses a very simple process. As soon as you print a document in the C-Surance software to the printer called « TSPrint Default », C-Surance software generates the document and when it’s ready to be printed, TSPrint grabs the document and transfers it to the user’s local station and prints to the user’s default printer.
The option « TSPrint Printer » works the same way but instead of sending the document to the default printer, the user will see a screen where he can choose the printer he likes.
The option « TSPrint PDF » will convert the document in PDF an the user will have the choice to save it, print it or send it by e-mail. N.B. : The actual printing of the document is done locally on the user’s computer. It’s simple, fast, reliable and completely transparent for the user. |
