PAM – PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGER
Generic roles #36
The GAP or General Access Provider is the ideal tool to manage roles and access.
The role concept corresponds to the diverse needs of the various users. An employer’s needs differ from his employees and GAP will establish the appropriate link in order to protect access to privileged information.
Responsibilities and access rights may significantly vary from one user to the other. Consequently, only a Carrier could be allowed to manage contract. The sponsor could assist the company in managing the calculation of taxable benefits and the employer/employee’s contribution.
While daily transactions can be managed by the employer, the sponsor could become extremely helpful in assisting him with more complex files. Finally, when we add other partners such as human resources and payable, services providers and health professionals, GAP plays an important monitoring role for each necessary and related access.
Following the professional control access assumed by GAP, Allegroupe, which is group insurance’s sophisticated and specialized managing software, will then take over to manage all transactions.
Project managing is most certainly one of the important roles assumed by GAP. Within that framework, the sponsor will be able to prepare his project specification followed by a comparative analyse of the offers.
On the other hand, the Carrier will be able to receive the information electronically and to make its own comparative analyse between the various plans, the project or the options. The Carrier will find all relevant project managing tools allowing for a thorough follow-up of each file.
Administrative management is another important role assumed by GAP. These control functions will enable Allegroupe to assume full administrative control of the plan along with the appropriate invoicing.
The collaborative notion then takes its full meaning as far as administrative management is concerned. Thus, the Carrier sees to and assumes full management of the contract. An enterprise under supervision will be able to manage transactions. Finally, the sponsor will be able manage related contributions and professional services.
There also exists a “Third Party Administrator or TPA” role for professionals, advisors and actuaries to insure proper management tools.
For TPA’S Allegroupe allows management of all administrative activities related with managing numerous companies. Thus, enabling a professional firm to find all necessary tools to guide and assist these companies and provide the Carrier with the related reports and information.
In order to complete C-surance’s global offer, a claim adjudication software or TPP is also available.
This highly specialized software is used mainly by TPA or carriers who manage claims. In the collaborative mode, this software can be made available to companies wishing to adjudicate certain claims themselves or, even better, to all health professionals and health service suppliers able to access C-surance’s software so to file directly online their professional care claims and obtain real time adjudication.
